In a small Indonesian village, was an artist with a magical paint brush. This artist had a gift of finding special creatures and revealing their true colors with his magic tool.
One afternoon as he was walking through his village, he came across a litter of abandoned kittens. The kittens were all huddled close, afraid and alone, crying for their mother.
The artist carefully picked up the kittens and brought them to his home where he was able to give them some milk. When their tummies were satisfied, they crawled together on the onto the rug and fell fast asleep in front of the warm fire.
While the kittens were sleeping, the artist went back out into the village to find their mama, but to no avail.
The artist loved cats and wanted to do something very special for them. On the way back home, he decided to use his magical paint brush to create whimsical patterns on the kittens to reveal their true nature.
While the cats were still asleep, the artist waved his brush around the cats and revealed unique and splendid designs on their tiny bodies that would only appear as they sleep.
One of the kittens awoke and saw the others with beautiful gold and silver swirls, colorful dots and swooshes, and sun beams on their tummies. It was a beautiful sight. The kitten took comfort in it and fell back to sleep.
As time went on, the kittens turned into cats and outgrew the artists home and wanted to branch out into the world.
The artist asked them if they would like to go on a journey to visit his American friend who would help them find their perfect homes for them to live and thrive. They couldn’t wait for their voyage to the far away land.
When they arrived at the American’s house there were many more enchanting creatures there awaiting their own adoptions with great anticipation. While they waited, she gave them each special names to match their personalities.
